Visitors

Silkstone Looks forward to welcoming visiting parties to our club. For the benefit of visitors, our members and staff, the organiser of the visiting party is requested to ensure that the following conditions are observed by all the party.

Visiting parties are allocated Tee Off time prior to the days play.

Green Fees:
The green fees are £28 per round, £36 per day and must be paid to the professional before play commences. We also offer 'all in' packages to include catering for parties of 12 or more. A deposit (non-returnable) of £10 per visitor booked is required 8 weeks prior to the visit, payment is not received by the due date then that date will be offered to another party. Parties of less than 12 should contact the professional direct.

Two for one vouchers are accepted by prior arrangement with the professional.

We are always happy to discuss 'special' requirements or events.

Handicaps:
All players should be able to produce an official Handicap Certificate if asked to do so by the professional or any club official.

Dress:
A reasonable standard of dress is expected on the course and in the clubhouse at all times. Denim jeans, track suits, collarless t-shirts or athletic footwear are not allowed. Shirts are to be tucked into trousers at all times. In summer if worn on the course, shorts must be of the tailored variety, short white or coordinated socks or long stocking may be worn. Shorts are allowed in the lounge and dining room. Jackets and ties are not required in the dining room.

Play:
Matches may only commence from the first tee. It will be reserved for your exclusive use at the times agreed on the confirmation notice. Gentlemen please play from the Yellow markers, Ladies from the red. Play to be in three or four ball matches.

Catering for visiting parties:
Final numbers for catering must be notified not less than 7 days before the day of the visit. Limited snacks only available up to 1730 hours on Mondays, unless prior arrangements are made with the Caterer/Secretary.

The person making the booking will be held responsible for the behaviour and etiquette of all members of the party both on and off the course.

The club cannot accept any responsibility for any loss, injury or damage howsoever caused to any member of the visiting party or their equipment. Cars are parked entirely at the owners risk. If in their opinion the course or part of is unfit to play the club reserve the right to close the course without prior notice and will accept no responsibility for any consequential loss other than return of deposits paid.

PLEASE NOTE - Mobile phones may be taken onto the course in the OFF mode only, for emergency use.
