Your Committee has registered Silkstone Golf Club to be a member of the County Card Scheme run by the Yorkshire Union of Golf Clubs.

For an annual payment of £10 any member can purchase a County Card which, when presented at a participating golf club, will result in a reduction in Green Fee, often up to 50% below that normally asked. The only stipulation is that a tee time must be booked in advance. In nearly all cases just one visit in a year will more than cover the cost of the card.

At present there are 82 participating clubs in Yorkshire including some of the most prestigious clubs in the County. During 2010 the scheme will be extended to cover clubs across the North of England. In 2011 it will involve clubs throughout the whole country.

Any member wishing to purchase a card should register with the Professional and pay the £10 fee.
