Membership Silkstone Golf Club is a members’ club and we do have, at present, vacancies for any individuals, male or female, who share the values which make our Club the unique organisation that it is. We have recently opened 7 new holes built to USPGA standards and we are very proud of these. We might be biased in saying this but it is our view that Silkstone provides one of the most challenging and spectacular golf courses in the area. To apply for membership you should obtain an application form from the Secretary. You would need to find yourself a proposer and a seconder, who should be a playing member of at least three years standing and be well acquainted with you. Should you be new to the area or not know any members who could assist you then please contact the Secretary, Alan Cook, who, hopefully, will be able to help. A £100 deposit at the time of submitting your application which would be returned should you decide to withdraw your application. Once your applications has been posted on the Club Noticeboard for two weeks then you would be invited to an informal meeting with the appropriate Captain and the Secretary. Membership fees are the same for both gentlemen and ladies as is the entrance fee. The Club has adopted an equal opportunities policy and is committed to this even though gentlemen and ladies do have their own fixture list.
