Local Rules Out of Bounds (Rule 27) - Beyond a line at the nearest point at ground level of any boundary fence post, wall, grip, white post or lines. To the left of the marker posts when playing the 7th hole. The markers are immovable obstructions when playing any hole except the 7th and relief may be taken under Rule 24-2B. Water Hazards (Rule 26) - All water hazards identified by yellow posts are ordinary water hazards. Water Hazards Identified By Red Posts Are Lateral Water Hazards. Stones in Bunkers (Rule 24) - Stones in bunkers are movable obstructions (Rule 24-1 applies) Roads And Paths (Rule 24) - All roads and paths with artificial surfaces are immovable obstructions and therefore relief may be obtained under Rule 24-2. Fixed Sprinkler Heads - All fixed sprinkler heads are immovable obstructions and relief from interference by them may be obtained under Rule 24-2. In addition, if such an obstruction on or within two club lengths of the putting green of the hole being played intervenes on the line of play between the ball and the hole, the player may obtain relief, without penalty, as follows: If the ball lies off the putting green but not in a hazard and is within two club lengths of intervening obstructions, it may be lifted, cleaned and dropped at the nearest point to where the ball lay which a) is not nearer the hole b) avoids such intervention and c) is not in a hazard or on the putting green. Immovable Obstructions - Any buildings, distance markers seats and bells are defined as immovable obstructions (Rule 24-2). Ground Under Repair (Rule 25) - Relief Must Be Taken from Any Area Marked G.U.R. but areas defined by blue stakes should be treated As G.U.R. But relief is optional. Staked Trees - If a staked tree interferes with a player’s stance or intended line of swing, the ball must be lifted, without penalty, and dropped within one club length of the nearest point of relief but not nearer the hole. Rule 24-2b(i) applies. Practice on the Competition Course - On the day of a stroke play competition, practice greens (other than practice bunkers) within the bounds of the course may be used for practice putting and pitching The putting green by the Clubhouse is a designated practice putting green. Penalty for breach of Local Rule - Match Play – Loss of Hole; Strokeplay – 2 strokes
